Consultation
Consultation
To welcome you, we have three consultation rooms, one of which is reserved exclusively for our cat friends.
Our vets can offer you their expertise in the fields of
INTERNAL MEDICINE, ORTHOPEDICS, OPTHALMOLOGY, DERMATOLOGY, DENTISTRY, CARDIOLOGY and BEHAVIOUR.
And, as the old adage goes, ‘Prevention is better than cure’, we can also offer you follow-up care for your pet, whether it's for the very young during vaccination consultations, or for regular check-ups in adulthood.
And let's not forget the older ones, who can benefit from tailored check-ups to help them grow old with peace of mind.

Farm animals and Equines
Farm animals and Equines
The VETOVALIS clinic is based in the Sartenais-Valinco region: a rural area.
Our vets, who specialise in this field, make home visits by appointment (farm visits, prophylaxis to ensure that livestock is monitored safely and medically) or on an emergency basis, for horses, cattle, goats, etc.
Hospitalization
Hospitalization
The clinic has various hospital cubicles adapted to the comfort of our pets.
These are located in three areas:
- The kennel: for day hospitalisation (monitoring of recovery after surgery, for example), and for hospitalisation for long-term care.
- The lazaretto (isolation kennel for contagious diseases), which requires a completely different approach to care and hygiene to avoid contamination with our other hospitalised animals.
- A cattery: because cats need their own space, our work has enabled us to open a cattery for their peace and well-being, which has enabled us to obtain the catfriendly label this year.
Each cubicle can be fitted with an oxygen concentrator or infusion pump, depending on the patient's needs.
Animals can be hospitalised 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as a vet monitors cases even at weekends and on public holidays.
At night, if necessary, an infrared camera monitors the condition of critical patients.

Radiography and ultrasound are now an integral part of a modern veterinary clinic's healthcare arsenal.
The VETOVALIS Clinic has two latest-generation digital X-ray machines.
- One is used daily for orthopaedic, cardio-respiratory and digestive pathology, as well as for pregnancy monitoring.
- The other is a dental X-ray machine recently made available to vets. Dental care is a growing expectation among pet owners, and this tool enables us to offer high-quality, specific care and is a valuable aid before a decision is made to extract a tooth.
- Ultrasound is a painless, non-invasive examination.
Our vets undergo regular training so that they can offer high-quality examinations. Today, this examination is used in a variety of fields, including digestive and urinary pathologies, cardiology, cancerology, ophthalmology and, of course, reproduction monitoring.
